Siranas flew in circles around Nasomiis head, overjoyed that he was alive. He felt indebted to Nasomii for saving his life. Nasomii wasnt really proud of herself, but grateful that the fairy lived. The experience was one that definitely wouldnt be forgotten. Sira, what exactly was that? I mean
what was wrong with you? Nasomii finally asked as she slumped down against the tree. It was a curse I think. Someone has been using magic on me. Siranas said, sort of in a daze. Nasomiis eyes narrowed as she looked at the fairy. So, this could happen
again? Nasomii asked, her voice trailing off in thought. Siranas nodded, and gently sat on Nasomiis knee. Does the curse only work when you are in fairy form? Nasomii asked. Siranas shook his head. I dont know. I know curses can be placed on humans too, so
Siranas began mumbling to himself. How do you feel now? Nasomii asked. I feel fine now.. The fairy flew a few feet away from Nasomii and pulled out a satchel from his miniature pocket. Naso, dont be frightened by this. I need to transform into my human body. Siranas said. Nasomii nodded nervously, as she wondered what the transformation would look like. She had seen him transform into a fairy, but after all that had occurred, the memory of that was murky in her mind. She thought about his clothes, and began to panic. What if his clothes rip when he transforms?! She thought. Nasomii felt her cheeks get hot. She was blushing. She casually turned her face away from Siranas to avoid any embarrassment. She fixed her green eyes on the sleeve of her panda robe. The trim was so delicate, it enticed her. She didnt hear any sound effects from the transformation. Finally, she decided to turn her head back to Siranas. He was now the young boy she had seen last night. But his once furious expression was now a relaxed smile. Nasomii felt just as comfortable with Siranas as a human as she had when he was a fairy. Siranas slowly walked toward Nasomii and sat in front of her with his legs crossed. I need to find the one who cursed me. I know who it is. If we dont take her down, we might not be so luck next time. I might die. Siranas said, a desperate look on his face. Nasomii shivered at the thought. Siranas frowned at her. Itll be alright. We just need to take care of this now
He said. Why would someone want to kill you? Nasomii asked innocently. Siranas looked away from her for a second, but rested his eyes on her once more. Its sort of complicated. My father had met a witch in Emain Macha when he was young. It was dark, and he was lost. He asked the woman for directions, desperate to get home. She cursed him that night
Siranas started. What happened next? Nasomii asked, eager to hear more. She turned him into a fairy. It was an odd curse. My father thought she was just testing the spell out on him. The curse turns people into a creature that corresponds with their personality. Now, my father was only a teenager at the time. You can imagine what his parents went though when they saw him. And at the time, my father didnt know about transformation powder. Still, Im babbling
Siranas broke off. No, go on. Nasomii insisted. That same witch killed my parents. I dont know why. Ive tried to figure it out, but nothing makes sense. And now
now shes after me. Siranas said. Nasomii empathized for Siranas. He meant a lot to her already, and she wanted nothing other than his wellbeing. Nasomii felt her eyes tear up, and although she tried to hold her tears back, they slowly ran down her face. Siranas tried to fix his mouth into a smile. Itll be alright. He said. He reached his hand out to hers, and she held on. |
